HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-74-0061RESOLUTION NO. 79-- 4 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE (1) YEAR EXTENSION OF EMPLOYMENT PAST THE AGE OF 70 FOR SOHN C. TOMICK, JOURNEYMAN CARPENTER, DEPARTMENT OF YACHT DOCKS, EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 1974 TO FEBRUARY 1, 1975, WITH THE PROVISION THAT IN THE EVENT OF A ROLLBACK OR LAYOFF, MR. TOMICK, RATHER THAN A JUNIOR EMPLOYEE, WOULD BE AFFECTED. WHEREAS, The Director, Department of Yacht Docks, has recommended an extension of employment past the age of 70 for John C. Tomick, Journeyman Carpenter, Department of Yacht Docks, effective February 1, 1974, to February 1, 1975, and WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the physical condition of said John C. Tomick is satisfactory for continued employment, and WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board has unanimously recommended the approval of employment past the age of 70 for said John C. Tomick for an additional year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. A one (1) year extension of employment past the age of 70 for John C. Tomick, Journeyman Carpenter, Department of Yacht Docks, effective February 1, 1974 to February 1, 1975, is hereby approved, with the provision that in the event of a rollback or layoff, Mr. Tomick, rather than a junior employee, would be affected. •� PASSED AND ADOPTED this a r day of ��� V lOR 1974.
