A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF INTER-
COUNTY CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION IN THE
ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $3,846,469.50 FOR
LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PHASE
II - SR-5377 C (centerline sewer) AND
SR-5377 S (sideline sewer); ALLOCATING
THE AMOUNT OF $3,846,470 FROM THE ACCOUNT
ENTITLED "SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND" TO
COVER THE ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST; ALLO-
CATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE ADDITIONAL
AMOUNT OF $344,647 TO COVER THE COST OF
PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $66,929
TO COVER THE COST OF ADVERTISING, TESTING
LLABORATORIES, POSTAGE, PRINTING, BLUE-
PRINTING AND SIMILAR ITEMS BY CITY FORCES
OR OUTSIDE VENDOR; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM IN
THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $3,846,469.50.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on January 10, 1974
for the construction of LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PHASE
II - SR-5377 C (centerline sewer) AND SR-5377 S (sideline sewer)
IN LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PHASE II - DISTRICT SR-5377 C
(centerline sewer) and SR-5377 S (sideline sewer); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $3,846,469.50
bid of Intercounty Construction Corporation is the lowest and best
responsive bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said
firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND" for the estimated
amount of the Contract, for Project Expense; and for the cost
of Advertising, Testing Laboratories, Postage, Printing, Blue-
printing and similar items by City Forces or outside vendor.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OP
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the January 10, 1974 bid of Inter -
county Construction Corporation in the estiti ated ainoUnt of
$3,846,469.50 for the project entitled LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT PHASE II - SR-5377 C (centerline sewer) AND SR-5377 S
(sideline sewer) in LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PHASE II
DISTRICT SR-5377 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5377 S (sideline
sewer), namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on unit prices, be,
and the same is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. That the amount of $3,846,470 be, and it
is hereby allocated from the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer
Bond Fund" to cover the estimated cost of the Contract.
Section 3. That the additional amount of $344,647 be,
and it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover
the cost of Project Expense which includes engineering, surveys,
and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. That the additional amount of $66,929 be,
and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover
the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories, postage,
printing,ab&ueprinting and similar items by City Forces or outside
vendor.
Section 5. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of Miami
with Intercounty Construction Corporation for the construction of
LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PHASE II - SR-5377 C (centerline
sewer) AND SR-5377 S (sideline sewer) in LIBERTY SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT PHASE II DISTRICT SR-5377 C (centerline sewer) and
SR-5377 S (sideline sewer).
