A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
JANUARY 2, 1974 FROM PITMAN PHOTO, INC.
FOR FURNISHING PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM, PAPER,
CHEMICALS, BATTERIES, ETC., FOR USE BY
ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY FROM THE
PERIOD FEBRUARY 1, 1974 TO JANUARY 31,
1975, AS REQUIRED, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$11,000.00; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS, AS
NECESSARY, AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED
THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE
AVAILABLE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received January 2, 1974 for furnishing Photographic Film, Paper,
Chemicals, Batteries, etc., for use by all departments of the
City from the period February 1, 1974 through January 31, 1975; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twelve (12) potential
suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Pitman Photo, Inc. for furnishing Photographic Film, Paper, Chem-
icals, Batteries, etc., be accepted at a total cost of $11,000.00,
since it is the lowest and best responsiveebid and further recommends
that the award be made to said corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on January 2, 1974 of
Pitman Photo, Inc. for furnishing Photographic Film, Paper, Chemicals,
Batteries, etc. for use by all departments of the City from the
period February 1, 1974 through January 31, 1975 at a total cost of
$11,000.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted. Said photographic
supplies are at the unit prices listed on the attached schedule.

Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Put--
chasing Division to issue purchase orders, as necessary, after
first having determined that funds budgeted fOr this purpose are
available.
