RESOLUTION NO. 7 ", 49
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT WITH
THE CITY OF MIAMI AND METROPOLITAN DADE
COUNTY FOR PROVIDING CENTREX TELEPHONE
FACILITIES TO METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has approved, by
Resolution 39967 dated September 12, 1968, a renewal of the
Agreement between the City of Miami and Metropolitan Dade County
for a period of five years to provide centrex telephone facilities
to Dade County; and
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Dade County has adopted Reso-
lution R-1476-73 indicating a desire to extend said Agreement until
September 30, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized and
directed to execute an Agreement to extend, for a one year period,
the Agreement whereby the City of Miami provides centrex telephone
facilities for Metropolitan Dade County.
