HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-74-00483 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 ANT/cc 11/13/73 RESOLUTION NO._7V V P A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE" AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XV, SECTION 2(8)(a), TO PERMIT MECHANICALLY OPERATED PARKING STRUCTURE ON LOT 20, BLOCK 83N, MIAMI (B-41) , SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATE SIDE SCREENING AS APPROVED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND LANDSCAPING APPROVED BY THE PLANNING DEPART- , MENT, LOCATED AT N. W. CORNER OF N. E. 3RD STREET AND BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, IN A C-3 (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM NOVEMBER 8, 1973; PROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE VENDING MACHINE TO A NEW LOCATION; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL SIGNS ARE TO BE ON ONE SIGN STANDARD (I.E., ONE POLE), SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BUILDING DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on December 6, 1971, passed and adopted by an 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 71-266, recommending granting a conditional use as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2 (8) (a), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it essential and desirable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character of the development of the immediate neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for a conditional use as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2 (8) (a), to permit mechanically operated parking structure on Lot 20, Block 83N, MIAMI, Plat Book B, Page 41, subject to appropriate side screening as approved by the Building Department and landscaping approved by Planning Department, locate4,0 W.W,.Cprn9r;of N. Section 2. That the applicant is required to remove the vending machine on his property to a new location to be approved by the Director of the Building Department of the City of Miami. Section 3. All signs on subject property are to be on one sign standard .(i.e., one pole), subject to the approval of the Director of the Building Department of the City of Miami.
