RESOLUTION NO. 74' 43_
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PUR-
CHASING AGENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
TO ADVANCE_„BUSINESS PRODUCTS FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF RECORDING AND TRANSCRIBING
EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 2,406.12 ; AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FROM
THE CAPITAL OUTLAY ACCOUNT OF THE CURRENT
CITY CLERK'S BUDGET; SAID PURCHASE BEING
AN EMERGENCY MEASURE AND WAIVING THE BID-
DING REQUIREMENTS FOR SAME.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to instruct the purchasing agent to issue a purchase
order to ADVANCE BUSINESS PRODUCTS for the acquisition of record-
ing and transcribing equipment for the City Commission Meetings
Section 2. That the City Manager authorize expenditure
of funds from the Capital Outlay account of the current City
Clerk's budget.
Section 3. That this is an emergency measure and
bidding requirements are to be waived since the equipment in
use now is obsolete.
