A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RE-
CEIVED DECEMBER 14, 1973 FROM COM-
MERCIAL FISHING SUPPLY CORPORATION
FOR FURNISHING ONE THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED (1,500) POUNDS OF FISH NET-
TING FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
SANITATION, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$3,930.00.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received December 14, 1973, for furnishing One Thousand Five
Hundred (1,500) pounds of fish netting for use by the De-
partment of Sanitation as a cover on trash trucks so that debris
will not be blown off the trucks; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to thirteen (13)
potential suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of Commercial Fishing Supply Corporation for furnishing One
Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) pounds of fish netting at a
total cost of $3,930.00 be accepted since it is the lowest and
best responsive bid and further recommends that the award be made
to said corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on December 14, 1973
of Commercial Fishing Supply Corporation for furnishing One Thousand
Five Hundred (1,500) pounds of fish netting at a total cost of
$3,930.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
