HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-74-0038MC/aeb /n/74 RESOLUTION NO..154 JP, A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS RECEIVED NOVEMBER 26, 073 mom FIVE (5) VENDORS FOR AMMUNITION FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AT A TOTAL COST OF $21,655.00. WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received November 26, 1973 for furnishing ammunition for use by the Police Department for training and regular patrol duty; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to fifteen (15) potential suppliers and six (6) bids were received; and WHEREAS, it was necessary to divide this bid among five (5) vendors, as no one vendor submitted bids on all items; and WHEREAS,athe City Manager reports that the bids of the following companies are the lowest and best responsive bids and recommends that said bids be accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the bids received from five (5) vendors, as listed below, for ammunition for use by the Police Department, be and the same are hereby accepted: 1. Federal Laboratories, Inc. - $ 338.50 2. Tamiami Gun Shop - 5,739.00 3. 3-D Co. Inc. - 14,685.60 4. Southern Gun Distributors 145.20 5.
