DECEMBER 12, 1973 FOR FURNISHING PEST
CONTROL MAINTENANCE, ON A SCHEDULED BASIS,
FOR CITY -OWNED BUILDINGS, PROM ORKIN
EXTERMINATING CO. FOR THE PERIOD PROM
JANUARY 9, 1974 TO JANUARY 8► 1975 AT A
TOTAL COST OF $3,373.20.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice,
received December 12, 1973 for furnishing Pest

sealed bids were

on a scheduled basis, for City -owned buildings, for,the period
from January 9, 1974 to January 8, 1975; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eleven (11)
potential suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
ORKIN EXTERMINATING CO. is the lowest and best responsive
bid and further recommends that said bid be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received from ORKIN EXTER-
MINATING CO. for furnishing Pest Control Maintenance, on a
scheduled basis, for City -owned buildings, for the period from
January 9, 1974 to January 8, 1975 at a total cost of $3,373.20,
be and the same is hereby accepted.
