A RESDLtrION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED
DECEMBER 5, 19'73 FROM °SOUTHERN MILL tEEJ(
PRODUCTS FOR ITEMS I, III & IV AND W000it)R (
CHEMICAL CO. FOR ITEMS II & V FOR FURNISHING
FL►RTILIZERS AND HERBICIDES FOR USE BY THE
PARKS DIVISION FOR THE PERIOD FEBRUARY 1, 1974
TO JANUARY 31, 1975, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$20,925.00.
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager
and City Clerk on December 5, 1973 for furnishing Fertilizers
and Herbicides, as required, for the period February 1, 1974
to January 31, 1975, for the Parks Division as part of their
regular yearly maintenance program; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bids
of SOUTHERN MILL CREEK PRODUCTS tot Items I, III & IV and
WOODBURY CHEMICAL CO. for Items II & V for furnishing Fertilizers
& Herbicides, at the unit prices per below list, are the
lowest and best responsive bids and recommends that said
bids be accepted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bids of SOUTHERN MILL CREEK
PRODUCTS for Items I, III & IV and WOODBURY CHEMICAL CO. for
Items II & V for furnishing Fertilizers and Herbicides, as
required, for the period from February 1, 1974 to January 31,
1975, at the following unit prices, be and the same azelihereby
accepted:
Items I, III, IV - Southern Mill Creek Products - $12,000.00
Items II, V - Woodbury Chemical Co. - 8,925.00

Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to instruct the Purchasing Division to ihaue
purchase orders from time to time, for same, after first de-
termining that funds are available for same.
