A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RE-
CEIVED NOVEMBER 29, 1973 FROM MIAMI
FIRE EQUIPMENT CO. FOR ITEMS I, II
& III AND PROM MORNING PRIbE MFG.
CO. FOR ITEM IV,FFOR USE BY THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT, AS REQUIRED FOR THE PERIOD
FROM JANUARY 1, 1974 THROUGH DECEMBER
31, 1974; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FROM
TIME TO TIME FOR SAME, AFTER FIRST DETER-
MINING THAT THE FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and
City Clerk on November 29, 1973 for furnishing Bunker Equ*p-
ment, as required, for use by the Fire Department, for the
period from January 1, 1974 to December 31, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bids of
Miami Fire Equipment Co. for Items I., II & III and
Morning Pride Mfg. Co. for Item IV, at the unit prices per
below list, are the lowest and best responsive bids and
recommends that said bids be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
MBE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bids of Miami Fire Equipment Co.
for Items I, II & III and Morning Pride Mfg. Co. for Item IV
for furnishing Bunker Equipment as required, for the period
January 1, 1974 through December 31, 1974, at the following
unit prices, be and the same are hereby accepted:
ITEM
I - Boots - Miami Fire Equipment Co. @ $22.00
II - Bunker Coat:- " " " " 47.00
- Helmets - " " "u 16.90
IV - Bunker Pants- Morning Pride Mfg. Co. 21.10

Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authOriged
and directed to instruct the Purchasing Division to issue purchase
orders from time to time, for same, after first determining that
funds are available for same.
