A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
NOVEMBER 29. 1973 FOR FURNISHING FIRE
HOSE TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FROM THE MIAMI
FIRE EQUIPMENT CO. AT A TOTAL COST OF
$19,574.00,
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received November 29, 1973 for furnishing fire hose for the
Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to e1evegt(11) potential
suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Miami Fire Equipment Co. for furnishing Fire Hose for the Fire
Department at a total cost of $19,574.00 be accepted since it
is the lowest and best responsive bid and further recommends
that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received on November 29, 1973 of
Miami Fire Equipment Co. to furnish Fire Hose for the Fire
Department at a total cost of $19,574.00, be,aand the same
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to instruct the Purchasing Division to issue a Purchase Order
for the initial amount of $19,574.00.
