A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE NOVEMBER 21,
1973 BID OP WHITE CONSTRUCTION AND
RENTALS, INC., IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT
OF $10,545; ALLOCATING FUNnS FOR CON-
TRACT COST, PROJECT EXPENSE AND INCI-
DENTAL EXPENSE; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to due Public Notice, bids were
received on November 21, 1973 for the project entitled MARINE
STADIUM - STRUCTURAL REPAIRS - 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Gunite Construction and Rentals, Inc. in the estimated amount of
$10,545 is the lowest and best responsive bid and recommends that
a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated
Funds" to cover the Contract cost, Project Expense, and Inci-
dental Expense.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the November 21, 1973 bid of
Gunite Construction and Rentals, Inc. for MARINE STADIUM -
STRUCTURAL REPAIRS - 1974 in the estimated amount of $10,545,
namely the Alternate Base Bid of Proposal, including Items 1
through 4 and Additive Item A, based on unit prices, be, and
the same is hereby, accepted at the prices shown in the Proposal.
Section 2. That the amount of $10,545 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Capital Improvement
Fund - Unallocated Funds" to cover the estimated cost of the Con-
tract.

Section 3. That the amount of $1,055 be, and it
is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost
of Project Expense which includes engineering, survey and in-
spection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. That the amount of $211 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost
of Incidental Expense which includes but is not limited to ad-
vertising, testing laboratories, printing and blueprinting per-
formed by City Forces and outside vendors.
Section 5. That the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Gunite Construction
and Rentals, Inc. for MARINE STADIUM - STRUCTURAL REPAIRS - 1974.
