A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST-
INGHOUSE ELECTRIC SUPPLY CO. IN THE ES-
TIMATED AMOUNT OF $9,630.50 FOR TERRAZZO
CONCRETE POLE ASSEMBLIES AND MOUNT ASSEM-
BLIES FOR CONCRETE POLES FOR MIAMARINA
RESTAURANT - PARKWAY DRIVE LIGHTING - 19731
ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $9,631 FROM THE
ACCOUNT ENTITLED "CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND -
UNALLOCATED FUNDS"; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR SAID
POLES AND MOUNT ASSEMBLIES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to due public notice, bids were re-
ceiVed on December 10, 1973 for miscellaneous items required
for MIAMARINA RESTAURANT - PARKWAY DRIVE LIGHTING - 1973.
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid�;of
Westinghouse Electric Supply Co. is the lowest and best re-
sponsive bid for furnishing and delivering Terrazzo concrete
pole assemblies and mount assemblies for use with concrete
poles and recommends that a Purchase Order be issued in the
amount of $9,630.50.
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated
Funds".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the December 10, 1973 bid of Wanting -
house Electric Supply Co. for furnishing and delivering 37
Terrazzo concrete pole assemblies and 38 mount assemblies for
use with concrete poles at a total cost of $9,630.50, these being
Item 1 and Item 3 of the Proposal be and the same is hereby
accepted at the unit prices shown in said Proposal.
Section 2. That the amount of $9,631 be and it is
hereby allocated from the account entitled "Capital Improve-
ment Fund - Unallocated Funds" to cover the cost of the above
items required for MIAMARINA RESTAURANT - PARKWAY DRIVE LIGHTING

Section 3. That the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a Purchase Order for the aforesaid pole
assemblies and mount assemblies.
