A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE REPOHTAF _ TDEc, DONS DTThG
FIRM OP AALLACE, MCHARG, ROBERTS AND TODD ENTITLED
DOWNTOWN MIAMI 1973-1985, AN URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND
ZONING PLAN; AND AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF:MIAMI TO DISBURSE FUNDS
NOW DUE ON THIS CONTRACT.

WHEREAS, on Nay 7, 1972, the City of Miami entered into
an agreement with the consulting firm of Wallace, McHarg, Roberts and
Todd, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to perform certain professional
and technical services in conjunction with a comprehensive revision
of existing zoning in the downtown area; and
WHEREAS, the consultants Wallace, McHarg, Roberts and
Todd, together with their associated sub -consultants, Haines, Lundberg,
Waehler of New York, New York, and Gladstone Associates of Washington,
D. C. have diligently pursued the completion of this study to the
satisfaction of the Director of Planning; and
WHEREAS, the consultants presented progress reports to
the Downtown Zoning Advisory Committee on November 6, 1972, December 13,
1972, March 13, 1973, and May 9, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the consultants Wallace, McHarg, Roberts and Todd
presented the report Downtown Miami 1973-1985, An Urban Development and
Zoning Plan to the City Commission on December 13, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department recommends acceptance of
this Report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the report of the consulting firm of
Wallace, McHarg, Roberts and Todd entitled Downtown Miami 1973-85,
An Urban Development and Zoning Plan, be and the same is hereby
accepted.

Section 2. That the proper city Officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized and directed to disburse funds now due on
this contract.
