RESOLUTION NO. _25±1240P
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HIGHWAY RIGHT OF
WAY DEED EXECUTED BY GREYHOUND LINES, INC.,
CONVEYING FOR HIGHWAY WIDENING STRIPS OF
LA'i ALONG THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF N.E. 10TH
STREET BETWEEN N.E. 1ST AND 2ND AVENUES AND
ALONG THE WESTERLY SIbE OF N.E. 2ND AVENUE
BETWEEN N.E. 9TH AND 10TH STREETS; AND
DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI TO RECORD SAID DEED IN THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, 10-foot strips of land are needed along the
south side of N.E. 10th Street between N.E. 1st and 2nd Avenues
and along the west side of N.E. 2nd Avenue between N.E. 9th and
loth Streets, respectively, to bring the said street and avenue
to their fully zoned width; and
WHEREAS, Greyhound Lines, Inc. has executed and
delivered to the City of Miami a Highway Right of Way deed for
the required 10-foot dedications; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission
to accept the aforesaid Right of Way Deed and to have it recorded
in the Public Records of Dade County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the November 16, 1973, Highway Right
of Way Deed from Greyhound Lines, Inc. for 10-foot strips of
land along the southerly side of N.E. loth Street between N.E.
1st and 2nd Avenues and along the westerly side of N.E. 2nd
Avenue between N.E. 9th and loth Streets, legally described;as
The north ten (10) feet of Lots 3
through 7; and the east ten (10) feet
of Lots 1 and 20; all in Block 22N of
A. L. KNOWLTON' S PLAT OF MIAMI, accord-
ing to the plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book B, at Page 41, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida
be, and the same is hereby accepted.
