WHEREAS, on October 9. 1974, the City of Miami entered into a Contract with E-Systems of Garland, Texas, for the acquisition of two computers to serve the information systems component for the Miami Modern Police Department Program; and WHEREAS, development analysis planni:ic; work rust be ac- complished; and WHEREAS, to Accomplish the systems deg}e' vrrent work, it would have been ncc.o s,1ry for the City uter professionals; and WHEREAS, the Civil Seetrice Board had est.+Jl r sh4 d lAssi f i- cati 1enior Systems Analyst., Systcr.s r.i^'r' r :I Programmer I: And WHEREAS, funds ir the ar'o'rn.t of Sl '1i031, which were required to fund thc'sE t:os i ons fo:- the buac;et year 1975-1976, were available in the Police an.' Crir^e Prevention Facility Bond Fund, and accordingly were allocated by Resolution No. '14-1366, on December 17, 1974; and will be necessay to maintain these professional computer 'cositions (1 the l-76 calendar year to further the systems development work and begin actual systems testing and initial operation in 1976t and sit WHEREAS, the amount of $150,000 is the amount required to fund these positionx and is available in the Police and Crime • Prevention Facility Bond Fund; N OCU1'Af.NT INDEX NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1.
