SEVERABILITY PROVISION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,'FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 62-26 of the Code of the City of
Miami, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by deleting
14 in its entirety Paragraphs (a), (c) and (f) of Section 62-26
15 entitled "FEES FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A CHANGE OR
16 MODIFICATION OF CLASSIFICATION OR REGULATION AFFECTING PROPERTY"
and substituting in lieu thereof new Paragraphs (a), (c) and (f);
and further adding.a new Paragraph (g) to read as follows:
(a) All applications for changes
in zoning shall be accompanied by applica-
tion fees in the following amounts: For
a change to R-1, R-2, R-3, R-3A,
R-CA

The final Budget adopted by the City Commission included an increase of
revenue of $12, ")00 to be generated from Public lIearinc. Fees. This
$12, sno is approximately 10n (4 the revenue prcsviously generated by
these feiss.
In order to accomplish this increase in revenue, the attached proposed
Ordinance increases fees for Changes of Zoning from and ti$ pt.sr
!-quare foot of land area for various 7.oning Districts to 3i, 5tt, ar,d
respectively. Variance fees v,ould lt ch-mged from 2,,!' per square foot
of floor area to 2. per square foot. Fees for Planned Area Develop-
ment (PAD) ‘voulcl he changed from 4c per square foot of land area for
all developments to $7;s per residential. unit and/or 4 per square foot
for commercial development.
-rhe fee for applications for residential development of a planned unit
nature wrylld he $7:3 per residential unit. The current fee charged for
any application of this nature
