Plo Ida, called and pro- vided for a primary election for nomination of cand3.datea for the offices of Mayorand two Commissioners of said City of /await and WM3REAS, the returns of said election have been delivered to and canvassed by the Commission: and WHEREap, in the canvass of the vote of said election a discrepancy was discovered in the number of votes shown on a return sheet from one of the precincts whereupon the City Commission ordered a complete audit of the return sheets from all eighty-seven precincts in the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, such an audit has been made and corrections duly noted/ MOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RE9OLVED DY.THE COMMISSION OF THE CM' OF HIM, FLORIDA: Section 1. That it is hereby certified and declared that in Group II (For Commissioner) Rose Gordon received a majority of votes cast in Group II, and she shall be considered elected to said office and shall hold said office for a term of two (2) years from Noon on November 5, 1975. That oa the auention proposed on the ballot "Shall Section 60 of the Charter of the City of Miami be :intended to provide for a seven (7) member board instead of a five (5) member board, and to provide that five (5) of the sewn (7) metabers shall be ap- pointed by the City Commission?" there were 5,909 votes cast for approval of the question, and 7,433 votes cast against approval of the question, and the Commission declares and certifies that said question wasp dis- approved by the electorat *. In the interest of brevity, this has been reduced to the most common errors found and is indicated on the attached audit sheet.
