RESOLUTION NO. 15-J 1
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CONSTRUC-
TION OF L. C. MORRIS, INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF BAY CREST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4 3 7 3 IN BAY
CREST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4373 AT A
TOTAL COST OF $185,014.84; ALLOCATING THE
ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $2,918.49 FROM THE ACCOUNT
ENTITLED "HIGHWAY BOND FUND"; AND AUTHORIZING
A FINAL PAYMENT OF $21,194.28.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 1
1975 between the City of Miami and L. C. Morris, Inc.; and
ttiHEREAS , the l;1ork has been satisfactorily completed
and L. C. Morris, Inc. has furnished the recuired documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to allocate the additional
amount of $2,918.49 from the fighciay Bond Fund because it was
found that more sidec,alk had to be replaced than anticipated;
and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing vas held November 6, 1975
to hear any objections to the completed improvements and no
objections were sustained;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed cork performed by L. C.
Morris, Inc. under contract dated January 15, 1975 for the
construction of BAY CREST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4373 in BAY
CREST HIGHHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4373 be and is hereby
accepted at a total cost of $185,014.84.

Section 2. The additional amount of $2,918.49 be
and is hereby allocated from the account entitled "Highway
Bond Fund" for the aforesaid purpose.
Section 3. The proper officials of the City of
Miami be and they are hereby authorized and directed to pay
L. C. Morris, Inc. a balance of $21,194.28 as full and final
payment for all work performed and all materials furnished
in connection with the contract for BAY CREST HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT H-4 37 3 in BAY CREST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-437 3 .
