HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-75-10231©.28.75 RFCsob RESOLUTION NO. 75- 12 A RESO .UTI ON ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR FURNISHING IRRIGATION PARTS FOR LEGION PARK FROM LEHMAN PIPE AND PLUMBING OF MIAMI FOR ITEMS 1 THROUGH 90, LESS ITEMS 75 THROUGH 81, AT A COST OF $8,543.24, AND STATE SUPPLY or HOLLYw'OOD FOR ITEMS 77) THROUGH 81, AT A COST OF $13,745.91, TOTAL COST $22,289.15: AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THIS MATERIAL; ALLOCATING $22,289.15 FROM THE PARKS FOR PEOPLE BOND PROGRAM FOR THIS PURPOSE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received September 11, 1975 for furnishing ninety (90) different items for Legion Park irrigation system for the Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty-seven (27) potential suppliers and ten (10) bids were received; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the bid received from Lehman Pipe and Plumbing of Miami for items 1 through 90, less Items 75 through 81, should be accepted at a cost of $8,543.24; and the bid received from State Supply of Hollywood for Items 75 through 81, should be accepted at a cost of $13,745.91, totaling $22,269.15, since they were the most advantageous bids received by the City: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO ©N OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: "DOCUMENT ITEM NO.
