FOR A PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT I)ISTF?ICT - PHASE II - H-4395; AND ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OE'10 , 000.00 FROM THE HIGHWAY BOND f uND FOR PRELIMINARY EXPENSE. WHEREAS, the Coral way area between S.W. 22 Avenue and S.W. 27 Avenue is heavily traveled and has developed into an office, restaurant, apartment and shopping area: and WHEREAS, the side parkways and pavement areas are deteriorated and in need of improvement with proper drainages and WHEREAS, renovation of side parkways will include new pavement, gutters and curbing, landscaping and drainage faeilitie NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF "DOCUNIENT, INDEX ITEM N0. A local Improvement described as S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PHASE II - H-4395 shall be made under Section 56 of the Charter of The City of Miami as amended, located on S.W. 22 Street (Coral Way) between S.W. 22 and S.W. 27 Avenues. Section 2. This Improvement shall include clearing and grading, construction of asphaltic concrete pavement consist- ing of 8 inch limerock base and 1 inch asphaltic surface course, concrete curb and gutter, concrete valley gutter, concrete curb, construction sidewalks at side parkway of 4 inch concrete sidewalk and 6 inch concrete driveways, drainage facilities and landscaping of the as specified and described in the Standard City of Miami Specifications for Public Works projects. This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings and assessments as S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PHASE II - H-4395 and the property against which special assessments shall be made for a portion of the cost thereof, hereunder shall be designated as S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - PHASE II - H-4395. Section 4. The sum of $10,000.00 be and is hereby allocated from the Highway Bond Fund for Preliminary Expense. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6 day of invFo,+sEp • 1975.
