A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT
A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE U.S. CIVIL SERVICE COM-
MISSION TO PROVIDE A VALIDATION OF SELECTION PROCE-
DURES PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE GRANT
AND EXECUTE THE NECESSARY CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS
TO IMPLEMENT THE PROGRAM UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to submit a Grant application to the U.S. Civil Service
Commission to provide a Validation of Selection Procedure Program.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to accept the Grant and execute the necessary contracts and agree-
ments to implement the program upon receipt of the Grant.
