RESOLUTION NO. 75-994
A RS0LUPI0N WAIVING THE FEE FOR THE USE
OP THE PARKING LOT AT THE MIAMI STADIUM BY
THE BORINQUEN LIONS CLUB TO HOLD AN EVENT
ON THE DATES OF OCTOBER 31 THROUGH NOVEM-
BER 9, 1975, SUBJECT TO ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR
EVENT PERSONNEL, INSURANCE, AND OTHER COSTS
BORNE BY THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the Miami Borinquen Lions Club again
recuests that the fee for the use of the parking lot at the
Miami Stadium be waived in order to hold its Second Annual
Borinquen Lions Club Carnival: and
WHEREAS, insuring a benefit to the citizens of
Miami as a whole from the operation of the Eye Bank of the
Lions Club constitutes a public purpose:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The fee for the use of the parking lot
at the Miami Stadium be and is hereby waived for the Borinquen
Lions Club to hold an event on the dates of October 31 through
November 9, 1975, subject to advance payment for event personnel,
insurance, and other costs borne by the City.
