AMOUNT OF $115 b 67 0 SHOULD NOW BE APPROPRIATED TO . BE EXPENDED IN CISCAL YEAR 1975-76 FOR THE PURPOSES APPROPRI=' ATED IN FISCAL YEAR 1974-75: PROVIDING FOR SEVER ABILITY;. AND: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City. Commission did appropriate Federal Revenue Sharing Funds for: specified purposes. in Fiscal Year 1974-75; and WHEREAS, all such funds werenot fully expended during the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 1975, and certain program balances have accrued as Revenue Sharing Fund Balance totaling 115,670 at the close of Fiscal Year 1974-75 and WHEREAS, is the desire of the City Manager and City, Commission that certain programs funded in Fiscal Year 1974-75 sorely and direly needing funds thus appropriated be authorized to continue their operations by expending the funds so appropriated;; and WHEREAS, the City Commission recognized the extreme. 'need for emergency funding of these social service programs by its ,passage of Resolution No.-75-962 on October.9, 1975; NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF, THE CITY:OF.MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1, Thee following- funds from Federal Revenue .. Sharing Funds Fiscal Year 1974-75 shall be'appro;,priated for the purposes outlined 1?elow for the Fiscal Year, 1975-76: A Martin Luther King Development $ 69,670 6,000 C, Wynwood Community Day Care Center, ,,,..•,. 40,,000 $115,670 B, Town Park Cooperative Day Care Seotion 2, The appropriations listed herein► shall, be in addition to any and all appropriations of Federal Revenue Shar- ing Funds prestiously appropriated by the Commission for Fiscal Year 1975-76. Section 3. If any section,' part of section, para- graph clause, phrase or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not be affected. Section 4. 411 ordinances or parts of ordinances, insofar.as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the pro- visions of this ordinance', are hereby repealed. Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared,to 'be an emergency measure on the ground of.urgent public need for the preservation of peace, health, safety and property of the City of Miami. Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordi- nance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a four -fifths vote of the members of the Commission The re- quirements of the applicable State,Statutes are also dis- pensed with. become Section 7.
