OFF SECTION 2148:2 OE THE CODE OF THE CITY
OPMIAMI, FLORIDA BY RESTORING A PORTION OE
SAID SUBSECTION CONCERNING THE OSE OE THE
BOAT HOIST AT. THE MARINE STADIUM WHICH HAD
BEEN INADVERTENTLY OMITTEb FROM THE CONTENT'S
OE THE AMENbATORY.ORDINANCE NO. 8403 PASSED
APRIL 22, 1975'-REPEALING ALL ORbINANCES,'
CObE SECTIONS OR PARTS T8tREOF IN CONFLICT,
CONTAINING A SEVERABILIT'Y PROVISION; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. •
WHEREAS, ordinance No. 8403, passed April 22, 1975,
amending city Code Section 2-48.2 contained a "scriveners"error
in that the amendatory ordinance omitted a portion of subsection 7
which should have read:
"There is hereby established a fee of two dollars
as payment for the use of the boat hoist, but there
shall be no charge for the use of the boat ramp." and
WHEREAS, the said amendatory ordinancecontained the follow-
ing sentence:
"There is hereby established a fee of two dollars as.
payment for the use of the boat ramp."
and the herein ordinance will correct the oversight and omission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Subsection 7 of Section 2-48.2 of the Code of
the City of Miami, Florida is amended to read as follows:
"7. The public shall have access to the boat hoist
and boat ramp facilities at the marine stadium dur-
ing daylight hours at times when events are not being
conducted. There is hereby established a fee of two
dollars as payment for.the useof the boat hoist, but
there shall be no charge for the use of the boat ramp.
Section 2, All ordinances, code sections or parts thereof
in conflict, insofar as they, are in conflict are hereby repealed,
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this,
ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, the .same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole.
Section 4. This ordinance is declared to bean emergency
measure on the ground of public need. The requirement of reading
this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a
vote of not less than four -fifths of the members of the commission.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall become
effective on

there is a "scrivener's" error in item (7) to.thc e1:tent
that the last sentence is written as
"There is hereby

of the boat ramp." The City Code wording of Section
(7) is : "There is hereby established a fee of two
dollars as payment for the use of the boat hoist; but
there shall'be,no charge for the use of the boat ramp".
Please take' the necossary action to 'accomplish the
correction.
