RESOLUTION NO. 7'-51
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 75-535
PASSED JUNE 5, 1973 WHICH PROVIDED FOR THE
USE OF DINNER KEY MARINA PIER 5 DURING THE
OCTOBER 1975 MIAMI DINNER KEY BOAT SHOW BY
RECUIRING THAT THE TENANTS OF SAID PIER 5
VACATE THEIR BERTHS BEGINNING OCTOBER ?2,
1975, INSTEAD Or OCTOBER 23, 1975.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed Resolution No.
75-535 on June 5, 1975 which provided for the availability of
Dinner Key Marir.a Pier 5 as a wet storage exhibition area dur-
ing the 1975 Miami Dinner Foy Boat Show, and
WHEREAS, despite the re<7u i rement of October 23,
1975 1_einq provided for in Resolution No. 75-535, the tenants
have been notified in writing that they must vacate their
berths not later than October 2?, 1977), which date i.s essential
and required ir- order to allow the exhibits to start occupying
the berths or. October 23, 1975.
NOW, TiHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Resolution No. 75-535 passed June 5,
1975, he and is hereby amended to require that the tenants
of Dinner Key Marina Pier 5 vacate their berths beginning
October 22, 1975 instead of the 23rd of October, 1975, as
was originally provided.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9 day of OCTOI3ER
1975.

Resolution No. 75-535, passed in June, failed to provide for one
day advance dispossession which is believed necessary from a
practical viewpoint to avoid conflict between the incoming Boat
Show vessels and the outgoing dispossessed tenants. Therefore
I hve Jmunded Resolution No, 75-535.
