RESOLUTION NO, 7-94I
A RESOLUTION ACCEPT/MO THE BID RECEIVED FROM
KAGEN EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR FURNISHING THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT WITH 300 SIDEWALK LITTER
RECEPTACLES, AT A TOTAL COST OF $24,420;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE A
PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS EQUIPMENT; ALLOCATING
FUNDS FROM THE POLLUTION CONTROL AND INCINERATOR
BOND FUND.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Pull is Notice, sealed bids were
received August 26, 1975 for furnishing 300 sidewalk litter
receptacles for the Sanitation Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty-five (25)
potential suppliers and six (6) '-ids were received, as per the
attached tabulation; and
WHEREAS, not all of the bids met the minimum reauire-
meat specification as set forth in the Invitation To }aid; and
WHEREAS. the City Manager requests that the bid of
Kagen E•uipment Company for furnishing 300 sidewalk litter
receptacles be accepted at a total cost of $24,426, as it was
the most advantageous bid received by the City, and the Sanitation
Department concurs with this recommendation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COINMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from Kagen E1uipment Company
for furnishing the Sanitation Department with 300 sidewalk litter
receptacles be and is hereby accepted at a total cost of $24.426,
as follows:
