WHEREAS, the owner of 4501 feet of land along the South side of Northwest 22 Lane between Northwest Second Avenue and North- west Third Court has re .uested the City of Miami to include within its Fashion District Highway Improvement program the paving of that area located in the 10 feet 3)etween the property and base build- ing lines of all of the owner's aforementioned property; and WHEREAS, when advised that the City is unable by law to effect any improvements on private property, this owner duly ex- ecuted and delivered a deed conveyin(j to the City the aforesaid 10-foot strips of land, even though the owner will be subject to assessment by the City for all of the aforesaid improvement; and WHEREAS, the City re4uires this dedication to bring North- west 22 Lane to its fully zoned width, it is now in order for the City Commission to accept this deed of dedication and to have it recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida? The City cif Miami has been requested by Sanitary Linen Service Co., the owner of 450: feet of property at the subject location, to include with.. in the Fashion District Highway Improvement program the paving of the north 10 feet of the aforesaid property. In order for the City to honor this request, the owner was told that he would be obliged to: (a) dedicate the aforesaid strips of land to the City of Miami as the City is unable by law to effect any improvements on private property, and (b) be subject to the full assessment charge assigned to the improvement. In full accord, this owner executed and delivered a Highway Right -of -Way Deed conveying to the City of Miami all of the property contained in the said 10-foot strips. Since the City requires this dedication in order to have N.W. 22 Lane in this block brought to its fully zoned width, it is now in order for the City Commission to accept the aforesaid deed 1rd to have it recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
