RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUT/ON AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
A PERMIT TO THE EDISON CENTER INTERNATIONAL
MASONS MIDEASTERN STAR FOR AMUSEMENT RIDES
AT THE PARKING LOT AT NORTHWEST 38r11 STREET
AND (PH COURT IN CoNNECTIoN WITH THEIR CAR4-
NIVAL ON DECEMBER 4, to 14,1975(10 WO, SUBJECT
TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A permit be, and it is hereby,
authorized to be issued to the Edison Center International
Masons and Eastern Star for amusement rides at the parking
lot at Northw.st 5Hth Street and 6th Court in conjunction
with their carnival on December 4 to 14 (10 DS:, 1975, subject
•
to certain terms and conditions:
1. Such use shall not be established fort`
period exceeding ten days (10) nor
shall any one location be used more often
than once a year.
2. The operators of the amusement rides shall
obtain the necessary licenses, permits and
Certificate of Use.

3. Small tents shall be permitted only to carry
on ride activities.

The operators of the amusement rides will

provide sanitary facilities for both male
and female patrons.
5. The operators and employees of the rides
will not domicileon the property.
6. No alcoholic beverages may be sold on the
premises.
7. The City of Miami Police Department will be
contacted and the number of off -duty police-
men that the Department feels are necessary
to direct traffic and provide for security
will he employed by the permit holder.

8. Operations must conform to noise level
requirements as set forth y the Director
of the !Wilding Department.
