Item RE. 15 on the April 23, 2026, City Commission Meeting Agenda proposes to
establish by Resolution Fee Schedules as provided by item SR. 1 (File No. 18943) at the
same meeting. SR. 1 was reheard as a First Reading at the April 9, 2026, meeting and
therefore, the substitution for this Resolution was deferred. As such, the original
Resolution requires substitution to include the changes made to SR. 1. The additional
amendments to the Fee Schedule Exhibits are for Chapters 20, 35, 38 and 53 and affect
the following Exhibits:

the Manuel Artime Community Center of Little Havana
6. Specialized instruction and programs (Sec. 38-15, City Code)
The fee shall be based upon the following formula:

C = Cost per participant for said specialized instruction or program
P = Salary (exclusive of fringes) cost to conduct instruction or program
S = Supplies and materials necessary to conduct instruction or program, i.e., books,
paper, crafts, equipment, etc.
R = Rental cost of facility if it has to be especially opened for specialized instruction or
programs
N = Number of participants
1.20 = Represents a 20 percent charge for overhead
For a proposed specialized arts and crafts instruction for two hours a week for ten weeks, or a
total of 20 hours' instruction, taught by a specialist costing $5.00 per hour; requiring craft
materials costing $60.00; incurring no rental costs; and with 20 participants, the cost (exclusive
of applicable taxes) would be:
