A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING CERTAIN
INDIVIDUALS AS MEMBERS OF THE ART IN PUBLIC PLACES BOARD FOR TERMS AS
DESIGNATED HEREIN.

Christina Cuervo Commissioner Ralph "Rafael" Rosado
Maria Napoles Commission -At -Large
Patricio Suarez Commission -At -Large
(Alternate At -Large, Miami -Dade County
Public Schools)
Section 1. The individuals listed above are hereby appointed to serve as members of the
Art in Public Places Board for terms ending as specified. Each appointment shall continue
for the later of the following: (1) one year; (2) until the nominating Mayor or Commissioner
leaves office; or (3) until the member is recommended for removal by the nominating Mayor
or Commissioner and such removal is approved by a vote of the City Commission,
whichever occurs first. Notwithstanding the foregoing, each member's term shall
automatically expire when the nominating Mayor or Commissioner leaves office.'
Section 2. The term limit requirement contained in Section 2-885(b) of the Code of the City
of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby waived by a unanimous (5/5) vote of the members
of the City Commission, as said requirement relates to the appointment of Christina Cuervo
as a member of the Art in Public Places Board.
1 Board appointments are administrative acts which do not require the Mayor's signature nor the City Attorney's
review and approval.
