A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING A CERTAIN
INDIVIDUAL AS A MEMBER OF THE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER,
QUEER ("LGBTQ") ADVISORY BOARD FOR A TERM AS DESIGNATED HEREIN.

Section 1. The individual listed above is hereby appointed as a member of the Lesbian,
Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer ("LGBTQ") Advisory Board, to serve for a term ending
March 12, 2027, or until the nominating Commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first.'
Section 2. The residency requirements contained in Sections 2-884(b) and 2-1351(b) of
the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, are hereby waived, by a four -fifths
(4/5ths) vote of the members of the City Commission, as said requirement relates to the
appointment of Aaron Riffa as a member Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer
("LGBTQ") Advisory Board.
1 Board appointments are administrative acts which do not require the Mayor's signature nor the City Attorney's
review and approval.
