A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
PURSUANT TO SECTION 29-B(C) OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, APPROVING THE PUBLIC DEDICATION OF
A PORTION OF CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED
GENERALLY AT 1550 NW 37TH AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA AND IDENTIFIED
BY FOLIO NUMBER 01-3132-000-0090, CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY
SEVEN THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN (7,118) SQUARE
FEET, AS LEGALLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED, ("PARCEL"), FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES, TO MIAMI-
DADE COUNTY, A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA
("COUNTY"); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND
EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS AND AMENDMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY,
IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, TO EFFECTUATE
SUCH PUBLIC DEDICATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") is the fee simple owner of that certain portion
property located generally at 1550 NW 37 Avenue, Miami, Florida and identified by Folio
number 01-3132-000-0090, containing approximately Seven Thousand, One Hundred and
Eighteen (7,118) square feet, as legally described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated
("Parcel"); and
WHEREAS, Miami -Dade County, a Political Subdivision of the State of Florida
("County") has requested the Parcel for right-of-way purposes ("Dedication"); and
WHEREAS, the Dedication shall be granted to implement a project of a governmental
agency or instrumentality in accordance with Section 29-B(c) of the Charter of the City of Miami,
Florida, as amended; and
WHEREAS, if the Parcel or any portion thereof ceases to be used for right-of-way
purposes, all rights and title to the Parcel, or the disused portion thereof, shall revert to the City
automatically;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 29-B(c) of the City Charter, the City Commission hereby
approves the Dedication of the Parcel to the County for right-of-way purposes.

Section 3. The City Manager is authorized' to negotiate and execute all documents and
amendments as may be necessary, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, to effectuate such
Dedication.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.2
APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS:
1 The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all legal requirements that may be
imposed, including but not limited to, those prescribed by applicable City Charter and City Code
provisions.
2 If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
