ING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO
ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER POR THIS EOUIPMENT1
ALLOCATING PUNDS PROM THE 'PARR AND RECREA =
TIONAL PACILITIES tOND PUND".
WHBREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received August 27, 19/5 for furnishing and installing
tennis curtains at the following parks: Kirk Munroe Park,
Curtis Park, Robert King High Park, Bryan Park, West End
Park, and Grapeland Heights Park, for the Parks and Recrea-
tion Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to thirteen (13)
potential suppliers and five (5) bids were received as per
the attached tabulation; and
WHEREAS, fundsare available in the Park and Recrea-
tional Facilities Bond Fund previously allocated by Resolu-
tion No. 75-660, passed July 17, 1975; and
WHEREAS, these tennis curtains are to be installed
at the above parks to reduce wind interference while playing
and for visual screening from outside interference at the

WHEREAS, the City Manager requeststh Lid %I
Hubert H. Hansen and Associates be accepted at a total cost
of $5,057, as it was the most advantageous bid received by
the City, and the Parks and Recreation Department concurs
with this recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C MMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;

Pursuant to Public Notice, scaled bids were
received August 27, 1975 for furnishing tennis
curtains at the following parks: Kirk Monroe,
Curtis, R.K.High, Bryan, West End and Grape -
land the the Parks and Recreation Department.
Invitations were mailed to thirteen (13) poten-
tial suppliers and five (5) bids were received
as per the attached tabulation.
Funds are available in the Park and Recreational
Facilities Bond Fund previously allocated by
Resolution 75-650, dated July 17, 1975.
These tennis curtains are to be installed at the
above parks to reduce wind interference while
playing and for visual screening from outside
interference at the tennis courts.
It is requested that the award be made and a
resolution be prepared accepting the most ad-
vantageous bid as received from Hubert H. Hansen
and Associates for furnishing tennis curtains
for six City parks at a total cost of $5,057.00.
The Parks and Recreation Department concurs with
this recommendation.
