PURCHASE ORDER ROR THIS PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received on August 18, 1975 for furnishing one (1)
industrial sweeper for use by the police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
from Allis Chalmers Material Handling Sales & Service for
furnishing one (1) industrial sweeper at a total cost of
$7,356 be accepted since it was the lowest responsive bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from Allis Chalmers
Material Handling Sales & Service for furnishing one (1)
industrial sweeper to the Police Department be, and is hereby,
accepted at a total cost of $7,356.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Department
to issue a Purchase Order for this equipment from funds
previously appropriated from the Miami Modern Police Depart -
