ENCLOSURES:
The tennis courts at kirk Munroe Park have been under
construction contract for some months now, and bids were
recently advertised for resurfacing and color coating these
courts and the courts at Peacock Park, This bid was received
August 28, 1975, and the acceptable bidder was A. A. Coatings,
in the amount of $5, 800.
Due to the prolonged contract period and the resulting public
furor over non -completion of the Kirk Munroe courts, the City
Manager awarded the bid such that the courts could be completed
with all possible haste and opened before October 1, 1975.
It is now in order for the City Commission to ratify this action by
the City Manager at the next appropriate City Commission Meeting.
