INO A PINAL PAYMENT OP $5 895.00 POR THE
kiCENTENN/AL PAM( - PHASE II (PROJECT NO. 1
SUISORADINO).
WHEREAS, there exists a'contract dated April 11,
1975 between the City of Miami and Redland Construction Co.,
Inc., and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Redland Construction Co., Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid
contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Redland
Construction Co., Inc. for BICENTENNIAL PARK - PHASE II
(PROJECT NO. 1 - SUBGRADING) be, and is hereby accepted at a
total cost of $58,950.00.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay
Redland Construction co., Inc. a balance
and final payment for all work performed

Redland Construction Co., Inc. has completed the
rading of existing bay bottom fill which had been
placed over the former commercial Dock areab and
relocated an existing on site stock -piled top soil
to designated areas,
It is now in order for the ';ommission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment) after all
conditions are met. The project was completed for
t58,950, which was within the contract amount, and
it was completed on time.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS, IN CONCURRENCE
WITH EDWARD D. STONE JR. & ASSOCIATES, ACCEPTING THE
COM?LETED WORK AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $5,895
FOR BICENTENNIAL PARK PHASE 11 - 1975 (PROJECT NO. 1 -
SU3GRADING)
