CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 2: "Shall Section 60 of the Charter of the City of Miami be amended to provide for a seven (7) member board instead of a five (5) member board and to provide that five (5) of the seven (7) rembers shall be appointed by the city commission?" PROVIDING FOR THE DESIGNATION OF POLLING PLACES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION AND THE SUBJECT MATTER THEREOF AND RATI- FYING AND CONFIRMING THE ACTS OF THE PROPER OFFI- CIALS PERTAINING THERETO; PROVIDING THAT THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF MIAMI IS DESIGNATED AND APPOINTED THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI IN TRANSACTIONS WITH THE SUPERVISOR OF REG- ISTRATION OF DADE COUNTY; AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND DADE COUNTY TO PERFORM THE NECESSARY ACTS TO SUBMIT SAID AMEND- MENTS TO THE ELECTORATE AT THE NOVEMBER 4, 1975 SPECIAL ELECTION. That a special municipal election is herl-.by called and directed to be held on November 4, 1975 in the City of Miami, Florida, at the polling placer in the election precincts' designated as hereinafter set forth in Attach -gent #t hereof from 7:00 o'clock A.M. until 7:00 o'clock P. M., Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 1975, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Miami, :for their approval or disapproval, the ordinances describe.: in the CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 1: "Shall Section 62 of the City of Miami Charter be amended for the purpose of providing for the addition of Battalion Chiefs in the unclassified service of the city by adding the phrase "Battalion Chiefs" in sub -section (1) (c) immediately after the "Director of training in the fire division?" Eastern Daylight Time, in the City of Miami, Florida at the polling places set forth below, at which election the qualified electors participating therein will vote for the approval or disapproval of the questions set forth above. The Clerks and Inspectors to serve at said polling places on said date shall be those designated by Metropolitan Dade County for such purpose. The registration books and records for the registration of persons qualified to vote in said election shall be those maintained by the Super- visor of Elections for Metropolitan Dade County.
