Dear Mr. Andrews:
The Miami City Commission at its February 27, 1975 meeting
(Agenda Items 7-A, 7-B and 7-C) extended the above three variances
and/or conditional uses for the six months ending September 18, 1975
at the request of the Applicant, Miami Jewish Home & Hospital for
the Aged,. Inc.
The building plans for addition of 120 beds have been com-
pleted, and Federal approval is expected daily on a Hill -Burton loan,
which will require competitive advertised bidding. For this reason,
it will not be possible to have the process of bidding completed and
the contract awarded to a general contractor prior to September 18, 1975.
