A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HIGHWAY RIGHT -OP -
WAY 'DEED EXECUTED BY ALEIbA HERNANbEZ CONVEY.

POR SEWER IMPROVEMENT; AND DIRECTING THE PROPER
O??ICIAL OP THE CITY OP MIAMI TO RECORD SAME IN
THE PUBLIC RECORDS OP DADE COUNTY, PLORItA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has proposed the Garden
Sanitary Sewer Improvement 8-5355 which will cause as part
thereof the installation of sanitary sewers in the unsewered'
portion of N.W. 28th Street between N.W. 18th and 19th Avenues; and
WHEREAS, in the design of this improvement, the best
possible location for this installation was under the stretch of
sidewalk located on the southerly side of N.W. 28th Street; and
WHEREAS, the start of this construction was delayed
because the City had not yet acquired by dedication a strip of
land 50 feet wide which extended 10 feet into the zoned street
right-of-way, being the only "undedicated" strip of land lying in
the parth of this improvement; and
WHEREAS, the commencement of this improvement can
now proceed since the owner of the aforesaid strip of land has
executed and delivered to the City of Miami a Highway Right -of -
Way Deed for the conveyance of same; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission
to accept the aforesaid deed of dedication and to have it
recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Highway Right -of -Way Deed executed
by Aleida Hernandez conveying to the City of Miami the North 10 feet
of Lot 1, Block 1, of ALLAPATTAH HOMESITES (6-123), for sewer

In the design of the Garden Sanitary Sewer Improvement B4-5385, the best
possible location for the installation to serve those properties in the
unsewered portion of N.W. 28 Street between N.W. 18-19 Avenues was under
the stdevatu or the southerly side of N.W. 28 Street. The construction
in this location will also reduce the coSt that the abutting property
owners must pay for the sewer and their maintenance of the sewer 1SteralS.
The City or Miami has heretofore obtained dedications of all the north-
erly 10-root strips of land along this stretch except from one lot, with
the result that this incompleteness caused a delay in the start of said
construction.
