NO. 8342 DATED DECEMBER 17, 1974) BY

AND BY ADDIMO A NEW ITEM 31) EDI50N
LITTLE RIVER SELF HELP COMMUNITY COUNCIL
PROJECT YOUTH) WITH AN ALLOCATION OF`
$15,330; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND
CODE SECTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREOF', IN-
SOFAR AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT; CONTAINING
A SEVERABILITY PROVISION; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City. Commission has determined that
an emergency exists in the funding of the Edison Little River,
Self Help Community Council - Project Youth; and
WHEREAS, said project desperately needs $15,330;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMIc
Section 1.' Ordinance No. 8342 dated December 17,
1974 is hereby amended by reducing Item 19, Wynwood Community
Day Care Center, from $40,000 to $24,670, and by adding a
Item 31, Edison Little River Self Help Community Council,- Project
Youth, with an, allocation of $15,330.
-Section 2. All ordinances, code sections or parts
thereof in conflict herewith, insofar as they are in conflict,
are.hereby repealed.
Section,3. If any, section, sentence, clause, phrase,
or word of this ordinance is for any reason held or declared to
be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holding or in-'
validity shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance.
Section 4.' ThiS Ordinance is hereby declared to be
,an emergency measure on the ground of urgent public need:
Section 5: :.This ordinance shall take effedt in
mediately upon passage.
Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordinance
on two separate days is hereby dispensed With by a Vote of hot
less than four -fifths of the members of the Commission.
