SEVtRAOILITy; AND PROVIDING AN EPPECTItiE bt TTS,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to repair the Lawrence Storm,
Pumping Station No. 31, located oh the northeast corner of
N.W. 17th Place. and N.W. 7th Street:,and
WHEREAS, the cost of the aforesaid work is $9,000.00
and the City has received $15,000.00 in unanticipated'income
that can be used for this repairand`
WHEREAS, it. is necessary for the preservation of peace,
health, safety and property of the City of Miami that the work
be accomplished as expeditiously as possible;
NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
.THE CITY OF MIAMI , FLORIDA:
Section 1. Appropriations ordinance No. 8316, adopted
October 10, 1974, be, and is hereby, amended to provide $9,000.00
for repairs to Lawrence Storm Pumping Station No. 31.'
Section 2. All ordinances, code sections or parts
thereof in conflict be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
Section 3.. Should any part or provision of this
ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as,a whole, or.any part thereof, other than the part declared to .
be invalid.
Section 4. This ordinance is hereby' declared to be . ah
emergency measure oh the ground of urgent public need for t-e
preservation of peace
of Miami.

on two separate days ishereby dispensed with by a vote of not
less than four -fifths of the Members of the Commission.
Section 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall
