AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING APPROPRIATIONS

ORDINANCE NO: 831.6 ADOPTED OCTOBER 10; 1974 TO
PROVIDE FOR THE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF
$ )21 6.00: FROM THE ORANGE `BOWL 1'UND BALANCE
TO COVER THE COST OF THE ORANGE BOWL WATER MAIN
IMPROVEMENTS - 1975 (2ND BIDDING) AS FOLLOWS
CONTRACT COST $.1,871.00 ; PROJECT EXPENSE
* 2$7.10 ; INCIDENTAL EXPENSES INCLUDING
ADVERTISING' TESTING AND REPRODUCTION SERVICES
$ 57,90 ; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, there have been complaints of low Water
pressure during the games at the Orange Bowl Stadium. In an
attempt to improves the water service available new mains are
being; provided which willextend around the north and south
sides of the structure; and
WHEREAS, funds, are available for, the above additional
allocation from the Oranre Bowl Fund. Balance; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of peace,
health, safety and property of the City of Miami that the work
be accomplished as expeditiously as possible and that this
Ordinance be adopted as an emergency measure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Appropriations Ordinance No. 8316
adopted October 10, 19744 be, .and Is hereby, amended to provide
for the additional appropriation of $ 3,216.00 from
the Orange Bowl. Fund Balance to cover the cost of the ORANGE
BOWL .STATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS - 1975 (2ND BIDDING) ` as follows:
(a) Contract Cost . . . . .$ 2,871.00
(b) Project Expense. $ 287.10
(c) Incidental Expense $ 57.90
Section 2. All Ordinances, Code Sections, or parts

Section This. Ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency measure ,bn the ground of urgent public need for
the preservation of peaces health; safety and property in the
City of Miami.
Section 5, The requirement of reading this Ordinance
on two separate days is hereby dispensed'with by:a vote of not
less than four fifths of the Members of the Commission.
Section 6, The provisions of this Ordinance shall
become effective on PU$LICATION
