THE AMOUNT OP $2,275,222.95 PROM THE ACCOUNT EN..
TITLED "SANITARY SEWER BOND PUND" TO COVER THE
CONTRACT COST: ALLOCAT/NG PROM SAID ACCOUNT THE
ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OP $197,522.20 TO COVER THE
COST OP PROJECT EXPENSE; PURTHER ALLOCATING PROM
SAID AcCoUNT THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OP $37,504.75
TO COVER THE COST OF ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES,
POSTAGE AND BLUEPRINTING; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 17, 1975 for
WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5387 C (centerline
sewer) and SR-5387 S (sideline sewer); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $2,375,222.95
bid of Goodwin, Inc. is the lowest responsive bid and recommends
that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund" for the amount of the
contract, for project expense and for advertising, testing
laboratories, postage and blueprinting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE

Section 1. The July 17, 1975 bid of Goodwin, Inc. in
the amount of $2,375,222.95 for the project entitled WEST GRAPELAND
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) and
SR-5387 S (sideline sewer) in WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5387 S (Sj-deline
sewer), namely Alternate Base Bid of Proposal, based on unit prices
be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated therein,

Section 2. The amount of $2,375,222.95 be, and iS
hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer 8ond
Pune to cover the cost of the contract.
Section 3. The additional amount of $197,522.30 be,
and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover
the cost of Project Expense which included engineering, surveys
and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The additional amount of $37,504.75 be, and
it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories, postage,
printing and blueprinting by City Forces or outside vendor.
Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami
with Goodwin, Inc. for the construction of WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5387 S
(sideline sewer) in WEST GRAPELAND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SR-5387 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5387 S (sideline
sewer).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31 day of JULY
1975.
