MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASINd DEPARTMENT
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER POR THIS MATERIAL USINO
FUNDS PROM THE MARINE STADIUM FUND BALANCE FOR
THIS PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received July 11, 1975 for furnishing additional fencing of the
Marine Stadium storage area for the PUblic Facilities Department:
and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty-four (24)
potential suppliers and nine (9) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the bid of Fence
Master, Inc. at a cost of $5,850.00 should be accepted since it
was the most advantageous bid received by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from Fence Master, Inc. at
a cost of $5,850.00 for furnishing additional fencing for the
Marine Stadium Storage Area for the Public Facilities Department be,
and is hereby, accepted as follows;

Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Department

Pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received
July 11, 1975 for furnishing additional fencing of the
Marine Stadium storage area for the Public Facilities
Department.
Invitations were mailed to twenty-four (24) potential

Funds from the Marine Stadium Fund Balance will be used
to finance this project.
Because of the heavy demand for the available storage
area, the Commission expressed a desire to expand on
this operation by providing an area large enough to
accomodate an additional two hundred boats and trailers.
This fencing will provide the security necessary for
the storage area. The operation of the boat storage
area will be conducted by Marine Stadium personnel.
It is requested that the award be made and a resolution
be prepared accepting the most advantageous bid as re-
ceived from Fence Masters Inca for furnishing additional
fencing for the Marine Stadium storage facility at a
total cost of $5,850.00.
The Public Facilities Department concurs with this
recommendation.
