11,I8REAS, Dade County now has a half price reciprocal
agreement which allows employees to pay one half of the regular
golfing fees; and
WHEREAS, a City of Miami agreement would promote a better
relationship between the employees of the different municipalities;
and
WHEREAS, this agreement would encourage employees to use
local recreational facilities, thereby helping with the energy
crisis;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION HE

Section 1. The City Manager be, and �II he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the proper officials of the
City of Miami to enter into a trial reciprocal agreement with Dade
County and any other local municipality with golfing facilities to
allow the employees of these municipalities to pay one half price
of the regular fee, during the months of July and August.

In order to promote better relations between employees
of the different local municipalities, we would like to
propose a trial one half price fee for the use by employees
of these municipalities for the months of July and August.
This agreement would be reciprocal with only those
municipalities having golfing facilities. This plan would
also promote the use of local recreational facilities, and
would help with the energy crisis. Dade County has, at
present, such an agreement.
It is now in order for the City Commission to authorize a
resolution arranging a trial reciprocal agreement with local
municipalities for the use by employees of their golfing
facilities at a half price fee for the months of July and August.
TIE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
RECOMMENDS THAT A TRIAL RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT
WITH LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES WITH GOLFING FACILITIES
BE ARRANGED FOR THE USE BY EMPLOYEES AT A HALF
PRICE FEE FOR THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST.
