Use of the Miami Stadium by the Miami Dade Community College, Downtown Campus, for the purpose of conducting its baseball practice sessions from September 9, 1975, through and including December 5, 1975 be, and is hereby, granted; subject to advance payment for event personnel, insurance and other direct costs borne by the City. Andrews City Manager ennin,E• , Director Depa. ent o Public Pacilities bAfi€: July 3, 1975 €iL`€: 14 5 Free use of Miami Stadium by .Miami -Dade Cottunity College litrOtENCE€: ENCLOSURES: The Miami Dade Community College, Downtown Campus has requested a waiver of the rental fee for Miami Stadium for the purpose of con- ducting its baseball practice sessions September 9, 1975 through December 5, 1975 on an as -available basis. For the previous two years the Commission has granted free use of the Miami Stadium to Miami Dade Community College for this purpose. The Miami Dade Community College does not have access to any other suitable facility to conduct its practice sessions. The Department of Public Facilities recommends the adoption of the attached Resolution waiving the rental fee for the Miami Stadium for use by Miami Dade Community College, Downtown Campus, for the purpose of conducting its baseball practice sessions from September 9, 1975 through December 5, 1975, subject to payment of lights, insurance and other direct costs borne by the City, and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Miami Dade Community College, Downtown Campus for said use.
