WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated May 1573
between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers Company; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Marks Brothers Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held before the City
Commission on July 31, 1975 to hear objections to the completed
improvements, and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to

ITEM NO.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Marks
Brothers Company for SOUTH BAYSHORE DRIVE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4342
in SOUTH BAYSHORE DRIVE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4342 be,
and is hereby, accepted at a total cost of $1,009,497.76.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay Marks
Brothers Company a balance of $203,120.49 as full and final
