line sewer) AND SR-5242 S (sideline sewer) AT
A TOTAL COST OP $997,023.40 AND AUTHOR/ZING A
FINAL PAYMENT OP $106,978.95.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated August 1, 1974
between the City of Miami and Goodwin, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Goodwin, Inc. has furnished the required documents certifying
that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full in
connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held before the City
Commission on July 31, 1975 to hear any objections to the com-
pleted improvements, and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
contractor;

Section 1. The completed work performed by Goodwin, Inc.
under contract dated August 1, 1974 for the construction of SOUTH
PINEMOUNT SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5242 C (centerline sewer)
and SR-5242 S (sideline sewer) in SOUTH PINEMOUNT SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5242 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5242 S
(sideline sewer) be, and is hereby, accepted at a total cost of
$997,023.40 ,

Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay
Goodwin, Inc. a balance of $106, 975.95 as full and final payment
for all work performed and all materials furnished in connection
with the contract for SOtTT}1 PINEMOUNT SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-S242 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5242 S (sideline sewer).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31 day of JULY
1975.
